Digi Player is a media player. It contains no channels, films or series of its own — everything you watch comes from a playlist you add yourself.
We run no servers and hold no account for you. Your playlist details, viewing history and favourites stay in the app's private storage on your own device.
The free version shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob, which collects advertising data. A single one-off purchase removes them permanently.
Digi Player does not supply, host, stream, sell or resell any channels, films or series. The app is empty when installed.
To watch anything you must enter credentials for a service you already subscribe to — typically a playlist name, username, password and server address issued by your own provider. We have no relationship with any provider and no control over what a provider makes available, whether it works, or how long it lasts.
The following is written only to the app's private storage on your phone or tablet. None of it is transmitted to us, and we could not read it if we wanted to.
Uninstalling the app, or using Android's clear app data option, permanently deletes all of it. There is nothing held elsewhere for us to delete on request.
When you add a playlist, the app connects directly from your device to the server address you entered, sending the username and password you supplied in order to download your catalogue and play streams. That connection is between you and your provider; it does not pass through us.
How your provider handles your data — including your IP address and what you watch — is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one. Many providers serve over plain HTTP rather than HTTPS, which the app permits because it is how the great majority of them operate; traffic on such a connection is not encrypted in transit.
The free version displays banner advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To select and measure ads, Google may collect and process device information such as your advertising identifier, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and app interaction data. Google's handling of that information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent choices before personalised advertising is used, through Google's User Messaging Platform. You can reopen those choices at any time from the app's settings.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier on most Android devices under Settings → Google → Ads. Buying the ad-free upgrade stops all advertising in the app permanently.
The optional ad-free upgrade is sold and processed entirely by Google Play. It is a single payment, not a subscription — nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. The purchase is tied to your Google account, so Restore purchase in the app brings it back on a new device. Refunds are handled by Google under the Play Store refund policy.
We never see or store your card, bank or billing details. The app receives only a confirmation of whether an ad-free entitlement is currently active for the Google account signed in on the device.
Digi Player requests internet access, which is required to reach your provider's server and play video. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or precise location.
Digi Player is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. What is available inside the app depends entirely on the playlist a user adds; it is not curated, rated or filtered by us. Parents who wish to restrict what can be watched should use the parental controls offered by their provider or by the device itself.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after that date means the revised policy applies.
Questions about this policy, or about the app itself, can be sent to digiplayer0@gmail.com.
Anything concerning your subscription with a playlist provider — expiry dates, missing channels, streams that will not play — is handled by that provider, not by us. They are the only party able to change your account.
